There is a new Gallery Shops where I have photos of useful and artistic things that are for sale.

I have added a new section that is devoted to pens, with a gallery of pens, instructions on how to make them, and a place to buy them.

The pages of this site  "Woodturning Stuff" will be used to share some of the things that I have learned during my  years as a woodturner.

My shop and gallery of turned wood are located in North Idaho where I also offer personal and group instruction.

We regret to inform the pen turning world that Russ Fairfield passed away on January 4th, 2011. He was 75 years old and passed peacefully. In honor of his many years of contributions to the woodturning, particularly the penturning community, and with his wife Gerry's permission, his site will be maintained and his videos will still be available.
